Based in Central PA, the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners feature dynamic songwriting, singing, and improvisational musicianship, while playing their own very special & potent musical brew. Their music ranges from bluegrass, Americana & old-time to ….well …anything! They blend a variety of influences & distill them into a musical style all their own. And it’s easy to see how much they love to play and how much joy they bring to the music and to audiences young and old.
This award-winning collective has been making a joyful noise since the late 2000’s. In 2010, the band won the prestigious DelFest Bluegrass Band Competition in Cumberland, Maryland. Bluegrass Unlimited magazine has praised the Moonshiners’ originality, authenticity, and enthusiastic approach to making music. Every member contributes to the songs, sounds & joy that makes every Moonshiners show a celebration.

Celebrating its 20th year--and nearly $50,000 raised for the Lupus Foundation of America--the Smoked Country Jam offers an incredible setting, fantastic line-ups, great food, and a community all its own that comes together every year in support of such a worthy cause!
We're playing on the first day, but stay all weekend to catch us again on Saturday & take in all the great music and activities this amazing festival has to offer!

The Poe Valley Troubadours at the Elk Creek Café & Aleworks!
The third Thursday of each month, we dress up as our mischievous (and a little quirky) twins, the Poe Valley Troubadours for our monthly gig at the Elk Creek Café and Aleworks in Milheim, PA. We change things up a little every month, so if you haven't been out for a Troubadours show yet, come join us. With the combination of great beer, awesome locally sourced food and entertainment, there's no better way to celebrate a Thursday!
